Run the Dell diagnostics to confirm the failure - F12 at powerup. If you see a failure there and are under warranty, call Dell with the error and they'll replace the drive.
If you're out of warranty, you will need a new, 2.5" 9.5 or 7 mm SATA notebook drive.
I work for the Dell Social Media Team. I understand you're having an issues with the system hard drive. Please send me a private message with the computer's service tag and I'll see what we're able to do.
