STRIKE ZONE?

My fiance just got her Vostro 1700 laptop a few days ago while we were taking inventory and setting it up I flipped it over and noticed that there is a section on the bottom where the words "STRIKE ZONE are written around twice what does that mean?

I have a Vostro 1500 and i've wondered that myself!

I looked in the owner's manual and could not find any

reference to it.

The strike zone is for the hard drive,if dropped(3 ft. ) or hit (too hard) it locks the drive so no damage is caused.
