Surge Protector
I have upgraded from a desktop to an Inspiron 5150. Do I need a to use a Surge Protector like I did with my desktop?

A surge protector is definitly worth getting. When you do get one, remember you get what you pay for. You want one with at least a 2000 joule rating. Anything less is not worth getting.

I've just ordered a new surge protector from Dell. It has a 2065 joule rating.
