Suspend to Disk file. Help!
:smileymad: Dell Inspiron 7500 P3. Just added 256mb PC100 Sodimm to run 512MB. I bought this machine used on Ebay and the original utility CD is not available. I downloaded PHDISK and followed the instructions. I do not want to reformat and reinstall windows. I used Partitin Magic 8 and created a FAT 32 partition of 6 gigs on a 30 gig HD. When I boot the computer from a DOS Windows 98SE diskette and run PHDISK.exe I chose to setup a file and then I get the error message that there is not enough free space? Do I need to format that partition via Fdisk and then run PHDISK? Addtionally, I removed the FAT 32 partition and reallocated the entire C: drive to FAT 32 instead of NTFS and the result was the same. Anyone?
