System startup error

Question

Each time when i startup my labtop, it always jump to system setup screen. When checking, all the settings are correct. After exit the setup, the second time system will startup normally and window screen will appear like normal.   My labtop model is Latitude D620 using window XP.   When the setup screen appear, the date and time is correct.

it could be malfunctioning ram.. Try to switch the memory, start in slot a and switch the moduals ,use one at a time.. Normally when the system wants to boot to the setup menue there is a change in the system memory.. your ram might be giving an inacurate report of ram size.
