The mouse is floating when using touch pad
Dear Dell Team!
I having an issue with the mouse of the Dell 15R 5110N, it's when I use touch pad the mouse is floating, especially for Microsoft Office product like Words, Outlook. When I composing the email, the mouse is floating it means that it can point to any position without any interaction so it makes the typo mistake and annoyed me so much.
Could you please help me to fix this issue.
Thank you so much.
Regards,
Trong

Hi Trong,
Welcome to the Community,
I would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the Touchpad driver.
To uninstall go to Device Manager(Control Panel,System,Hardware),expand Mouse and pointing Device, right click on Touchpad listed, click Uninstall, put check mark for delete driver software(if that is an option),click OK.
Reboot the system, download and reinstall driver from this link below :
www.dell.com/.../inspiron-15r-n5110
Note:If the Touchpad stops responding after uninstalling and rebooting, use a USB mouse to reinstall driver.
Hope this helps,
Thank You

Hi trongnguyen,
Try installing Touchfreeze application. This application will automatically disable Touchpad while typing.
Use this link to download and install : www.softpedia.com/.../TouchFreeze.shtml
Note:This is a 3rd party application and not a Dell validated application.
Let me know if this helps.
