Just going to throw in my 2 cents but to me this looks like a video card problem. Not a driver but a video card problem. If it were mine I would replace the video card. But I am sure others will disagree with this.

I agree with you, I believe that the video card is having a bad day. But, is the video card intergrated into the MB? If it is then the MB was replaced. And the only thing I can think of is to use a calibration hammer, anything in excess of 10lbs should be enough, and lightly tap the computer till the system starts to work:smileysurprised: Ok, seriously dont do what I say. Just a light sense of humor.

I asked this person if they saw it on the external monitor and the reply was no. But I see there that they changed their mind and possibly found one. As I said before I agree that the video card is bad.

Could be a driver issue.  If you can see the dell logo or the shutdown screen ok, but it could be that video.  hold down the "Fn" key and press power to run diagnostics.  Then do custom tests and double click the video to run the video card tests....

That certainly is a good point and question! I think the video card could very well be intergrated on that board. I just don't know for sure and it is very possible.

You can look in device manager and display/adapter. Or you can just select start>run and type in dxdiag and hit enter. Select display and it will tell you.
