touch screen

hi team,                   i have laptop  inspiron 15r  that is touch screen laptop  i want to disable that touch screen on my computer i have tried different steps such as Winkey + Q.b. Type Control Panel.c. Go to Hardware and Sound.d. Pen and touch.e. Click the touch tab.f. Disable use your finger as an input.or show visual feedback while touching the screen ask cx to restart still same issue or that human interface step also  I needed to disable my touch screen on Windows 8 because my touch screen is defective.  This computer is an old Win7 tablet that I bought refurbished so the quality was questionable. I was able to disable the touch screen by doing the following: 1. Right-click and select 'All Apps' at the lower right corner, then select Control Panel 2. Select Hardware and Sound 3. Select Device Manager 4. Select Human Interface Devices 5. From the list, look for the driver for the touch screen.  This can be tricky since on my tablet they are all listed as 'USB Input Device' and there are 3 of them.  I found it by disabling and re-enabling one at a time until the touch screen stopped responding.  You can also identify the touch screen by checking the Properties | Details and get the 'Hardware Ids' then do a search online to see what the device is.  In my case, the touch screen has the ID USB/VID_0EEF&PID_7302. � but i was not to find that please suggest me how to go further with clear steps

Hi er.gautam91288,I see that you have tried most of the steps to disable touch on your laptop. However you can go to device manager and you will find a list of Human Interface Devices. You need to disable and check if touch stops working. Make sure you enable the device if that’s not the right driver. You can follow this link as well.http://dell.to/16aGnWX
