Hi,

Welcome to the Community. I suggest you uninstall and reinstall the touchpad driver. To uninstall, click on start, right click on computer, click on properties, click on device manager, click on the symbol next to pointing devices, right click on Alps touchpad and click on uninstall, click ok to confirm. Restart the computer, and click on the below link to download and install the Alps Touchpad Driver, and restart your computer once done.

Thank you.

Thanks for getting back.

Followed your instructions, but still getting a pop up message that says my

Touchpad device has been disabled, on start up?

Cheers

Hi,

Click on start, in the search box type in msconfig, and press enter, click on the Startup Tab on top and make sure Alps Touchpad is checked. Click on Apply Ok, and restart your computer.

Thank you.

Hi,

Uncheck Synaptics Pointing device, click on Apply, and restart your computer. After restart, check if the touchpad works, and if you get the error.
