Touchpad doesn't work when any key is pressed
On my new Alienware 17, whenever I try and use the trackpad while a key is pressed on the keyboard, the trackpad freezes in place. I have tried looking for a setting that this might be to turn it off, to no avail. Considering how negatively this impacts gaming, and with that being the primary use for these laptops, I hope that I am not the only one who this has happened to, and because of that, that someone knows how to fix it.

Hi Sharpshot94549,
Please reinstall the touchpad driver on the system for issue resolution. Please enter your service tag # on the link below, select the OS, Then download the Touchpad driver from ‘Mouse, Keyboard & Input Devices’ section onto the system and install it.

Also, I would advise you to download and install the ‘TouchFreeze’ software from the link below and check for issue resolution.

I re installed the driver, but I don't my point is coming across, i WANT the mouse to be able to move while keys are pressed, the exact opposite thing this "TouchFreeze" software says it will do.

The link you provided no longer works. I'm having the same problem with my Alienware 15 R2. How do I resolve it?
I tried disabling palm rejection from touchpad settings but it didn't help.
