Typing copyright symbol using Inspiron M5030
I have tried everything, every key combo that I can think of , and I cannot type a copyright symbol using my Inspiron M5030 keyboard.
I do a lot of graphics using my Paint Shop Program and I need to put artist's copyrights of my tags and such.
At the moment I'm using a brush that I made in my PSP but it's made with ComicSans font and doesn't match the other fonts that I use.
I can make the symbol on my desktop using ALT+0169 and I've found that some laptops can make it using the FN and ALT, mjo9, or something like that but nothing that I have googled for works.
Any suggestions?

maman3,
Start, in search type
char
Click on character map. Select the symbol you want, then click copy. You can then paste it to the document you want to use.
©
You want it in Comic Sans, the hight light it and choose Comic Sans
©
You can also choose the size you want

Thanks pudgyone.
I tried your suggestion and it works great.
I was looking for the way we type it on a desktop (ALT+0169) but this will work fine.

maman3,
At the bottom it shows...
U+00A9
If that means something.

maman3,
Glad you got the character map to work for you. If you copy these items to a Microsoft Word Document, you can just copy and paste each time, if you don't want to use the character map.
If it's something you use often, I would make a cheat sheet.
Take care,
Rick

Using "autohotkey" is another solution
http://www.autohotkey.com/
downloading and installing is a matter of 1 minute
create a new script and insert the code below-after running the script the hotkey-combination "CTRL" and" Alt" and "c" will insert the copyright sign in any document.Other hotkey combinations are possible.

Thanks MicroTest, but I really didn't want to go that far as to have to download something.
I need the copyright symbol to use in my Paintshop Pro program and that's way too techy for me.

replace "DOT" with "." in link above and copy it into the address bar in case the video doesn't show up in this post

OK, I see that you made a video on downloading the AutoHotKey(which I still don't understand what it's for) and I appreciate the fact that you took the time to do so, but, I simply clicked on my search, typed in "char" (character map automatically pops up) , I find the © symbol, copy it in the font that I want and take it to my PSP paste it into my text box.
There I can change the color etc.
I guess there is no code to type right at my keyboard cause nobody is coming up with one.
Thanks for your time
