Unmountable boot volume Please help

I have an Inspiron 5150. I had a problem with my wireless card sliding into the port and found that there was a foreign object inside. I used a flash light and removed it gentley. My notebook was turned off and I removed the screws that holds the hard drive and pulled it out, the wireless port is in the same place. I removed it hoping I could get a better view of the wireless card PIN's to make sure there wasn't any damage. I placed the hard drive and placed the screws back and started the notebook and it came to a unmountable boot volume and it wont allow me to use safe mode. Can I fix this without reformatting my PC?? It could be a problem with your boot.ini file, but it may also have been caused by not inserting the hard drive completely into its slot. First try to remove the hard drive, and reinserting it again.

hey dude  simply boot from the Operating system cd & go into recovery console & simply type in chkdsk /r, & enter,it'll take 45min & the issue will be resolved.if it doesnt work u might have to reinstall the OS.
