upgrading your laptop's memory with a third party ram will it affect my warranty. will the third party ram affect my motherboard. pls reply this.

Hi veera CEO,
Installing a third party memory will not void the systems hardware warranty, unless the memory is compatible with the system.
To know if the third party memory is compatible with the system, please provide the model of the laptop along with part#/model of the memory.

inspiron 3420 and i dont know the model number of the ram. its 2gb ddr3 hcl
