Using a Headset with D/Dock for D600
Hello!
I'm using a Dell Latitude D600 and the corresponding D/Dock. I'm also skyping a lot and would like to use my headset (with microphone and headphones plug) when my D600 is docked. Unfortunately the docking station only has a headphones plug and the microphone plug of the D600 doesn't seem to work when it is docked.
Is there any solution to this?
Thanks,
Michael

The microphone plug "seems" to not work when using a headset with d/dock.
My experience is that using the headset (audio out) in the d/dock mutes the pc speakers as expected. But very peculiar, any input of the microphone is muted by plugging into the d/dock headphone. Now if you plug the headset or external (amp and) speakers into the headset (audio out) of the notebook (not the d/dock) you will have all audio including "a working" microphone input. Go figure...
