Using U3011 with Latitude E652 and E-port

I have a U3011 monitor I used on a custom pc.  It was connected with a Dual Link DVI.  Using the same cable, I tried connecting it to the DVI port on the E-port docking station and the E6520 (w/ NVS 4200m) does not recognize the U3011 supported resolutions.  I have installed the latest nVidia drivers and Dell monitor driver for my setup.  Is there anything I can do to run the U3011 at it's native resolution?
