video card compatibility

Yes I pulled out the video card an now the monitor is working.  So I guess the card went bad,  is there a warranty on the card it self?

If not i have a older video card Radeon 9500pro ATI 128mb, and it is designed for windows XP.  But it requires a connection to my pc's internal power supply for operation.  A 300watt  power supply or greater is recommended.  Is this possible?

How do i proceed?

Thanks

Hi jonticchi,

Below few video cards would be compatible with the Dimension E520:

  1. ATI Radeon X1300, PCI-e 16X,128MB
  2. ATI Radeon X1300 Pro, PCI-e X16, 256MB
  3. ATI Radeon X1300, PCI-e 16X,128MB
  4. ATI Radeon X1300, PCI-e 16X,128MB

Above video cards would be compatible with the computer.

Please reply if you have any further questions.

Hi jonticchi,

The warranty on the video card would completely depend up on the warranty on the computer unless it is purchased separately.

If the video card is purchased separately, contact vendor/manufacturer for inwarranty replacement.

Please let me know the system model so that I can help you with the power supply upgrade details.

Awaiting your response!

No warranty on video card and the other card I have does not fit.  So what kind of video card do you suggest for my Dell XPS L502X ---Dimension 520E--Windows XP
