Video Card Upgrade Possible?

I have a question about upgrading the video card on my dell xps m1330. Here is my system specs first
T7500 2.2 Ghz 4MB-L2 cache 800Mhz FSB
4Gb Kingston ram
64Gb Solid state disk (Samsung)
Nvidia Geforce 8400M GS

That should be the basic info you need, does this have a possible upgrade for the video card? I want to get one with at least 256MB or if possible 512MB Ram. Thanks

No, 8400m gs is the highest card for this model.

When you say no do you mean that is the highest video card from dell or period? Can I take it to a computer shop and have a better video card installed?

That is the highest card for that model period.

This is a laptop/notebook. There are no generic cards on the market for these type of systems. You'd have to get a desktop computer if you want to upgrade.

Just so everyone is clear, the nVidia "card" is actually a chip set built into the motherboard. There is nothing to change or modify that I could see when mine was replaced last week for failure.
