Vostro 1510 - BIOS update in Ubuntu 8.04 ?

following this tutorial to update my BIOS in Ubuntu 8.04

I get an error when try to download the BIOS update from the repository. I think there is no BIOS update for Vostro 1510, and many other dell models, am I right?
I have BIOS A06 and the newest version is A10, how can i upgrade it using Linux (don't have dual boot, just linux)
