Does vostro 1510 support dual monitor?

The Intel video will allow it as well.

hi ,
yes offcourse it will allow u to have dual display .
that built in xpress xhipset 3100 graphics allow u to have dual display depends upon ur operating system if u have any problem just reinstyall the graphic driver and it will work .

I mean if connect external monitor would I be able to "Extend my desktop" to it and effectively have twice the monitor space?
Video: Intel Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator X3100
OR: 128MB NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS
OR: 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT

With the Nvidia 8600 i know you can use Dual View,to extend the desktop.
Not sure if the integrated video will allow that or not though?...
