Webcam Problem

Question

Due to some past problems i had to do format my hard drive and reinstall everything back again. Anyways, i installed my webcam manager software from the cd that came with my laptop, but when i run it, there's just a black screen when there should be whatever the cam sees... I tried updating my driver and its up to date. I installed the software twice and its not working... what now?!?! XPS M1530

I ran into the same problem, it is easily solved though by using the webcam manager and hitting the reset button. It worked fine after that.
