Weird problem with WSXGA+ Screen.

My screen is the WSXGA+ and I have the 9600 Pro Turbo card. On the far left side of the monitor, all the way down, about an inch wide, the refresh rate is acting up. When ever I have a black backgroud, and something white goes over it, I am stuck with a orange haze for about 4 seconds, before it fades away. It only happens on that 1 inch bar on the left side, and a little on the bottom. It is very annoying especially when playing games. Should I call dell and request a visit from a tech, or what. What do you think the problem is?
