where's the Num Lock Key Inspiron 1440?
cat walked all over keyboard and now characters are not typed correctly, I was told to locate the num lock key but there's none on this laptop inspiron 1440. Most people says that cat probably pressed function keys and now when I type h it types h6 and for g it types g5 and so forth, please help! how do I solve this issue?

Remove the battery, unplug the system, and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Then apply power and see if that clears the problem.
