It allways amazes me that people don't realize it's not a hit and miss for the right driver on this site.  Simply type in your service tag # at the dowload page and you'll get a list of the correct drivers for your system....

Steve... This is where I go wrong.
According to this site, my Servi8ce tag is on the base of my laptop and sure enough, there it is but there are 2 possible sets of numbers/letters that could be the right one.
If I try to enter the xxx-xxx-xx number, the last -xx are too many digits for the box.
If I use the xxxxx one, I just get the same result as if I just check all the video drivers available for a Latitude using Win98SE.
So you see, even though I try to use the service tag, I'm no better off.

Ah, but you miss the point.  What model is your laptop?  Search by the model, ALL models only have 1 type of configuration, therefore the previous post still holds true, its not hit or miss, either you have a certain model of laptop or not.. The service tag would be more expedient, but simply choosing the correct model will achieve the same result, and take you to the correct page to select the only driver available.
