White screen and red pixels flickering.

Hi, I've been having problems with my laptop recently. The white screen has been appearing for a while now when I start the laptop up, but today the screen just went flickering white, and after shutting the laptop down and turning it back on again, the entire screen/monitor had these red flashing pixels. They only appear on black or any dark color background/screen. I'll try and post a picture of some sort later on.

Hi _AlemHodzic_,

Please reply us with the snapshot of the LCD screen so that we can check and assist you further.

Also, we will have to perform the ‘LCD BIST’ (Built in Self-test) on the computer. Please follow the steps mentioned below to run the “LCD BIST’.

  1. Turn of the computer.
  2. Press and hold down the ‘D’ key on the keyboard and press the Power button.
  3. You will see different colors on the LCD screen. Please check if the issue reoccurs on the screen.

In addition, please connect the system to an external monitor and check if the issue reoccurs.

The LCD BIST did not work for me. I followed the steps and the only thing that happened is that it just turned on. My laptop is a Latitude D820.

And here's a picture from my phone (Sorry for the low quality):

Hi AlemHodzic,

It seems to be an issue with the LCD screen. I would suggest you to reconfirm if the issue persists on an external display or on the BIOS screen (F2 during startup).
