White spots appearing on screen (Not 'dead' pixels) HELP

Hi everyone.

I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I've started to notice that my Studio 1555 has developed a large collection of strange white spots. They seem to be visible against a bright colour background (such as white), and when the laptop screen is viewed at an angle. (A 45 degree angle is where they are most visible. I fear that they may be 'spreading'.

I have tried to use this website's feature of contacting a technician via live chat, but my service tag doesn't even work!!! And I checked it on the base of the laptop and in the laptop boot menu setting.

Should I send it in under the warranty?
