Will not boot - Disk read error
I got my Studio 1737 in the mail today. It worked fine when I first booted it up. It then needed Windows updates installed, and after that it needed to be restarted. I restarted it, but it would not boot. The monitor never even came on. The only thing it was doing was lighting up the keys, and the increase volume button was flashing.
I ran diagnostics, and it returned
Error Code: 0F00:133C
and
Msg: DISK - Read error, check the disk
I am unsure where to go from here, other than calling tech support, but I've been told that no one can help until tomorrow. I just am wondering if anyone knows if I should try and perform a clean installation of Vista, or if I should just wait and call tomorrow.

The hard drive is faulty. It's your choice: have them send a new drive, or have the system replaced under the 21-day satisfaction guarantee.
