WinZip Driver Updater
I obtained some school singing over web
I now have a WinZip Driver Updater icon in Windows 7.
Is this safe. I think I started this but did not install.
At some stage I think it suggested payment!

I think it wanted to download during night, when computer on, but nobody at computer

Is there a better method of doing this! dell upgrade ???

Winzip is a program that is used to 'unzip' and 'zip' files. For example if you have a bunch of photos you want to compress into one file, you can use winzip to do so. Some programs can use it to uncompress files for installation but I haven't seen winzip itself used in a long time. Dell and their automatic software update stuff uses their own installers etc and shouldn't leave anything on the desktop or anywhere else. rule of thumb, if you dont know what it is you delete it. If you have an antivirus program you can also right click on it and scan the file as well just in case.
