X1 LCD resolution

Can anyone tell me if an upgrade of the X1 monitor resoltion is foreseen in the near future. It is a great system but to make it excellent it would really desearve some more pixels.
 
Any comment is very welcome, I'm waiting to buy one to see what happens.

I really doubt it. Isn't the X1 a 12.1" screen with a resolution of 1024x768, XGA?? If you have a SXGA+ Res, 1400x1050, everything on the screen would be tiny. Not many people would buy that model with a SXGA+ Res so they aren't made. I also doubt a SXGA+ screen is even produced in that size screen.

you clearly have a point... max resolution is  WXGA (1280 x 768), however I'm used to a 1920x1200 and although it looks very tiny is it indeed really useful. I guess in the end it comes up to how you like it. Again, you're probably right and they don't even manufacture it.
