X300 Battery Problem

Hi all;

I have X300 and the battery is not performing as expected at least up to my knowledge of batteries.. here is the problem

first i set the alarm to 20% and the critical to 15% , but they never warn me that the battery is going down, i made sure that the selection are right  more than once but still the same it will shut down without warning me

second, if i unplug the power supply it will still show as if i'm connected to AC power supply, even that i'm running on the battery , and the icon in the task bar will not change to battery to show how much percetage left. it will always show that the source of the power supply is the AC power,

third if i connected the power back, it will not show that i'm charging the battery and will stay on the power, and the battery will not be charged, it will be charged if i removed the battery and put it back again..

any body has any idea about that?
