yet another driver install question
greetings.. yes..i tried the search but nothing specific to my problem came up
new Inspiron 1501..reinstalled XP home (Fdisk/reformat etc)
that went well.. but upon using the resource driver disk from dell..
that starts and lists all my needed drivers..many of them have a check mark
beside them.
i click on one..it says to click extract and it will then automatically
run...but nothing happens
i click extract..a dos box flashes on the screen for a second and nothing
starts..
what am i missing here? isnt there a install all button .

I think some of the files on the CD were corrupt..never did work
I went to the driver section on this website and downloaded the same
drivers and it worked.
Laptop is now running with 24 processes running down from the default 45
now to work on setting up the new wireless router i got yesterday :)
