We have Sql always on setup done in Azure following below article

Now my team tries to back up using cluster name as the client , networker tool fails to resolve.

But I feel they should try with Listener name since SQL Always on Azure has dependency on cloud service listener name rather than cluster name.

So my questions are:

1) Can Networker tool back up from Sql Always ON Group in Azure ( though it can backup from individual sql server instance (Iaas VMs) which are not in AG) ?

2) Should we use Listener name as the client name to back up?
