I have a 17 inch Dell LCD no driver installed, no issues to report.  Most times you do not need the driver.   Never used one for either my 15 - 17 - or now 24 inch LCD.  Not needed.  What is your issue that you need it  ?

This short blurb by the Moderator was on the same subject but with the 24 incher.... Might be interested to read.

the only problem i have at the mo, with the monitor is that it has a slow refresh rate when scrolling a page. the page moves up or down in stages, rather than in one fluid motion.

i formatted my harddrive and installed all the programs , but couldnt find my systems disk with all the drivers on it, so i've downloaded all drivers but my monitor is still not quite right.

i dont know if its a driver i need or if there's something else i should be doing?

Your problem usually happens when you don't have drivers for your graphics card installed and you're running the monitor at its max resolution. Try: 1) Lowering your resolution or 2) Installing drivers / the correct driver / updated driver for your graphics card.
