Presuming you bought the monitor with a computer at the same time, have the service tag from your computer available and you may need the serial number from the monitor.  Dell will locate your warranty from the system service tag to determine warranty eligibility.

I have the same problem with my poweredge 1900 fp. However, mine powers on with no problem. However, the brightness and contrast are at 0. And the controls on the monitor do not work. Is there a way to control the brightnes and contrast without using the panel in the monitor?? Also, is there a way to reset the monitor to its factory state??

I bought this over 2 years ago. So I have no idea about the warranty
