1901FP, lock icon
I bought my new 1901FP last week and it was working fine for a couple of days. Yesterday I was attaching my USB connections: one upstream and 2 downstream. While I was doing this, I rotated the monitor in different directions to access the USB sockets. Everything works. However, when I click on the menu button or any other button on my monitor, it shows me the lock icon (instead of showing the OCS menu with 'No' as a default), so I cannot adjust Brightness or any other setting. I tried to press buttons in different combinations, but it did not help. I always see this Lock icon.
Please advise.
Thanks!

My problem is not with USB (see my post above). It is with my monitor which is locked. When I click on the menu button or any other button on my monitor, it shows me the lock icon (instead of showing the OCS menu with 'No' as a default), so I cannot adjust Brightness or any other setting. I tried to press buttons in different combinations, but it did not help. I always see this Lock icon.

gotmonitor,
OSD Settings:
Horizontal Position
Vertical Position
OSD Hold Time:
OSD Rotation
OSD Lock
Each time the OSD opens, it displays in the same location on the screen. 'OSD Settings' (horizontal/vertical) provides control over this location.
- and + buttons move OSD to the left and right.
- and + buttons move OSD down and up.
The OSD stays active for as long as it is in use.
OSD Hold Time: Sets the length of time the OSD will remain active after the last time you pressed a button.
Use the - and + buttons to adjust the slider in 5 second increments, from 5 to 60 seconds.
OSD Rotation: Rotates the OSD by 90 ° counter-clockwise. Adjust according to your Display Rotation
'OSD Lock': Controls user access to adjustments. When 'Yes' (+) is selected, no user adjustments are allowed. All buttons are locked except the menu button.

This is the icon of the closed lock I am getting every time when I press any button on my monitor. What is the reason? What should I do fix the issue?
Thanks.

{Note: You can also lock or unlock the OSD by pushing the Menu button for over 15 seconds.}
If that does not work, you could remove power and all other connections and start over connecting the monitor. If that does not help, I am out of ideas, Dell should have some? I tried searching the Forum, 3 other customers had the same problem, but no solution was posted. I had no luck with the Knowledge Base. I looked at Samsung support, they have a similar hold down button procedure...

Thanks everybody!
I was able to unlock my closed lock icon by pushing the Menu button for over 15 seconds.
