I have same monitor.  I went into the menu setting.  Towards bottom there is a setting called OSD Setting go into that setting and you will see in the submenu and setting that show the lock.  Go to that setting and choose no.  The lock icon will go very small then disappear.

There is a way to lock the OSD or On Screen Display so that no changes can be made, I would think you have that turned on somehow. Go to the Main Menu by pressing the 'Return' button and if that's the case, instead of getting all of the normal choices it would go straight to the OSD Lock menu where you could then unlock it and restore access to all of the other functions.

Give that a shot.

Interesting. :smileyindifferent:

What about your video card drivers? Is there some way to lock things from there? Can you check under Display Properties (right-click on a blank spot on your desktop and select Properties) for Settings / Advanced and see?

I don't have your exact monitor, but on my two Dell LCDs it's just to the left of the "minus" button. On both they seem to have a tiny picture of a monitor above the button, on one the button is blank and the other it has the same symbol as the 'Enter' key on a keyboard.

Would have been nice to mention that up front. Maybe someone else can help as I don't know beans about setting up or any tricks to using dual monitors.

You might want to provide any more details that may be helpful that you haven't mentioned yet, like what exact video card and drivers you are running. Just in case that makes a difference.

I do not see anyting in there. It is odd, I am in a dual monitor setup and the DVI monitor is fine while the VGA monitor is locked.
