1905FP
I have a 1905FP monitor that has started ghosting pretty bad. If I stay on a web site for 5-7 minutes, when I leave there will be ghosting of that web site. If I turn the monitor off for about an hour the ghosting will be gone. This is progrssively getting worse.
Any help will be apreciated.
The monitor is still under warranty.
Thank you.

thanks.. i rang dell in the end. they suggested that :
1. unplug and then reconnect the upstream and downstream cables
2. pull out the plug from the mains and leave for 1 min
3. press and hold in the on/off switch on the monitor for 20 sec
4. re plug in the mains and turn back on
this worked and cleared the static in the monitor.
(I assume these steps are to reset the monitor)
As to the comment about your computer not being high end enough for an lcd... that sounds like bu11sh!t to me. However, I could see problems occuring because of a lack of RAM or an older video card, but that would only be noticeable while gaming. If you have the option of using the digital connection, that would be better than analog. Analog data must be converted to digital by your computer, which can take time, but I have never noticed anything significant enough to considered a problem before in my own analog monitor.
