1907FP VS 2007WFP
Ok the 1907 is currently on special offer in the uk at £228.19 which meand that for £456.37 I could get 2 = 2560x1024
Or I could get the 2007wfp which I prefer at £437.10.
Are there any issues with the 1907 such as banding etc??
Decisions decision I really like the 2007wfp with the extra inputs but not sure if I can ignore the fact that I can get 2 1907s for a very similar price.
Opinion would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
Scott

One thing to consider is the native resolutions. You mind find this monitor size comparison useful. You can see that although the 19" is taller than the 20" widescreen, they have about the same number of pixels vertically.

I noticed that you talked about the composite/s-video ports as being a buying point on the 2007WFP. I personally like using those inputs, but there are many downsides to them too. You have to sit back from the monitor when you watch a movie over composite/s-video inputs, as if you were watching a TV, otherwise it looks a bit grainy. Also, the monitor stretches 16:9 video to fit 16:10. It doesn't really bother me as those aspect ratios are so close to eachother, but it does bother some people.
The main reason I picked the 2007WFP is I plan to connect it to a laptop, which only has one external monitor port, so it would have been pointless for me to go with a dual monitor solution. I think that dual monitors would be good for everything but movie and gaming. To do both movies and gaming you'd probably have to disable or not use one of the two monitors. Then again, one 19-inch monitor is big enough to play games or watch movies.
Personally, I think it's really a toss up. I really like my 2007WFP, but I think you'd have a lot more space with dual 19-inch screens. If I wasn't getting a laptop, I might have gotten the dual monitor configuration.
I hope some of this helped.
