20" LCD running two side by side

is it possible to run two screens side by side allowing you to drag and drop between the screens, useful when multi tasking???
 
I currently am running one 20" LCD DVI Dell screen and was interetsted in purchasing another to do exactly this.
 
my graphics card is a 5200

Yes, you can, although one screen will have to run off the VGA outputs, at a loss in picture compared with the DVI. I think you may not be able to run 1600 by 1200 on both monitors from a single card, although it may be possible someone else has done it...You could add a PCI video card to drive the second monitor with dvi output.
