2001FP Where is the service code located??
Can't locate the service code. Where is it located on the monitor. I can find it on my 17' DELL TV.

Thanks for using the Dell Community Forum.
I'm not sure exactly what number you are looking for. The only number you would find on the monitor is the actual serial number for that specific monitor. The service tag for the whole system would be on the computer itself and not the monitor.

I assume it does not have a service tag as I did not purchase it with a system. Other add ons like the 17' TV have a service tag.

You should have an order or customer number for the monitor when you purchased it from Dell. Look for the paperwork that came with the monitor.
