2007FP firmware status?

Hey all,

The other day, I ordered a 2007FP from Dell Outlet. Unfortunately, I didn't discover this ongoing banding issue until after the order shipped. Is there a good likelihood I'll receive the problematic A00 version of the 2007FP firmware? If I do receive it, will Dell replace the monitor for the A02 version?

I ordered a 2007FP earlier in the month (Dec '06) from the Dell Outlet and it arrived last week.  It is an S-IPS panel at rev A03 and has no dead pixels. I am very happy with it.   Regards,   Rich

What about the 2007WFP? Also, are they guaranteed to be IPS panel?

Other than what I read in this forum I have no idea what is going on with the 2007WFP.   As far as I know there are still no guarantees related to the type of panel in the monitor. I did not make any special requests when I placed my order. I was willing accept either an IPS or PVA. Either one is suitable for my needs.
