2007fp Wrong firmware replaced!

Question

Contacted chris-M and had my monitor replaced by dell in the U.K for one with firmware A01 so I rang dell for another replacement and now i've just received firmware A00. Not going so well huh! Anyone else with any ideas or same problem please help out!!

They don't seem to have any idea about the firmware fix last time i rang up i was on the phone 1 hour till they said they'd replace it for me! I think i'd be pushing my luck if i rang 1 day after it was replaced. Message Edited by drunkdack on 07-21-200606:59 AM

I've been waiting since 2nd June for mine!

Have you checked if the new(?!!) monitor is any better? Perhaps it's been flashed and they forgot to put the Rev02 sticker on top of the old one?!!! (one of the refurbished "New" ones - lol!). If it has been modded, you've probably got the superior S-IPS panel instead of the PVA one... If there is no improvement I'd PM ChrisM asap to get it sorted unless you're prepared to accept second best - I can't see any advantage by waiting a second longer. If you check the Rev00 it would be interesting to hear what your impressions are.
