2007FPb OSD problem and small blue bordered screen

Hey, just got a 2007FPb for a second monitor but I'm having a problem with changing the output to dvi. When I try to change the output it only shows s-video and composite, but it shows my desktop on the top right of the screen bordered in blue as shown in the picture below. I've been trying to troubleshoot it but I also can seem to get the OSD on screen. Whenever i try to press a button all it says is "there is no signal coming from your video source. Press the input button on your display to switch to another device." Been looking for an hour I've tried a couple of solutions but non of them work. Thanks for any help.
