2007WFP A02 developing same problems as A00
I've had my (replacement) monitor for little over a week now, and I have noticed a few problems that are literally coming out of the blue (or rather, back out of the blue if you will). Banding has become more severe in the week since I've been using this monitor (now banding into the brighter shades of colors, and not just the extremely dark end of the spectrum like when I took this A02 out of the box) and is easily recognizeable even in the low-brow graphics editing I do (I make computer wallpapers). To add to this, the blurry text problem has come back, which is (I now admit, was skeptical of this problem at first) extremely hard on the eyes even after 10 minutes of use of the 2007WFP.
Has this happened to anyone else? It seems to me like all the "Fixes" the new firmware had, are wearing off. or atleast this is what it seems like to me. This is definatly a defect, and I will be returning my monitor for a refund as such.
Noone wanted this monitor to work out more than me; I bought an extra HD-Cable box, some new 5.1 speakers (To accompany said HD-Cable box), and I reconfigured my entire room because the monitor was too big for the monitor slot on my desk (I had to bring a table up beside my desk to put the monitor on). If anyone was hoping for the best, it was definatly me. But now I just see no way for this to get resolved, other than getting a refund.
Oh, and on that note, has anyone gotten a refund on their Rev 002 replacement yet? If so, did you have to pay shipping back and/or a restocking fee? I want to have some precedent for when I go to set up my refund, because god knows if the refunds don't go through ChrisM, then whoever I end up with on the phone won't have any idea about the banding.
