2007WFP buttons extremely difficult to push

Question

I've noticed the small buttons on the front of the 2007WFP monitor are extremely stiff and hard to push. I seem to recall the demo model I saw at the Dell kiosk was that way too. Is this common with the 2007WFP model? The buttons on my 1907FP model are much easier to deal with.

Maybe over time the buttons will loose some of their stiffness. But for now, trying to use them is quite a workout for my fingers.
