2007WFP refresh rate at max resolution

I am trying to decide between the 2007WFP and the E207WFP.  I don't need the extra ports on the 2007WFP.

Is the image quality on the 2007 WFP better?  The specs are essentially the same, but the E207WFP has a faster response time (5ms vs 16ms).

The max resolution on both is 1680x1050.  On the E207WFP the max refresh rate at max resolution is 60Hz.  However, the specs on the 2007WFP state max resolution of 1680x1050, and max refresh rate of 76Hz, but the spec does not say whether this refresh rate is available at max resolution.

On a CRT monitor, a 60hz refesh rate direves me crazy instantly with the flicker.  Is this somehow different on a flatscreen monitor?

refresh rates on LCD's don't matter, as LCD's don't refresh in the same way a CRT does.

I heard some talk that the 16ms listed for the 2007wfp isn't totally correct, but i don't know about that.

I have a Dell 20" resolution 1680 x 1050 and after reading this post I went and checked the refresh rate which does seem fixed at 60 Hertz.  I cannot detect any flicker though.

Thanks.  I will buy one then, and try it.  It will be obvious in about one second if there is a problem.

Thanks. I have ordered a couple of 2007WFPs. When they arrive I'll try to remember to post some information about them, including whether I see any flicker.
