2007WFP UltraSharp fuzzy text

Got a new UltraSharp 2007WFP.  It is running at 1650X1028 at 60hz and the text clarity is very disappointing.  All the diagonal lines you can count the dots and the same is true of any letter with curves.  This makes the text look fuzzy.  The latest 2007WFP drivers have been installed.  The Windows display settings are to the default XP settings.

The graphics card is a NVidia Quadro PCI-E Series.  The latest drivers for this card have also been installed.

Have I missed a setting or is there something between the graphics card and the monitor settings?

This system is used for 2D applications, no gaming.

Any suggestions on how to get a better quality text image?

The resolution should be 1680x1050.

Are you using DVI or VGA?

Have you tried the ClearType Tuner PowerToy

Sorry it is set to 1050... however you identified the problem.  Clear Type was turned off.  I ran the tuner too and it now looks great.
Thanks

Clear Type is much better but still not as clear as my old CRT.  Curved and diagonal letters still have jagged edges.  Net Meeting PowerPoint presentations are fuzzy.  Have downloaded the Clear Type power tool and made the settings.

Any suggestions?

Have loaded the latest graphics card drivers.  Could this be the graphics card?  Have the Nvidia Quadro PCIe 64Mb.

Thanks,

Please confirm whether you are using DVI or VGA and that the resolution is set to 1680x1050 at refresh rate of 60Hz.

Yes, it is set to DVI, 1680X1050 and the refresh rate is 60HZ.

Thanks.
Text is... well, UltraSharp on my 2007WFP (FX5200 and several driver versions). The only other suggestions I can offer are to try the monitor on another PC, Google for issues with your particular card and/or drivers or try forums.nvidia.com.

After a couple of months the fuzzy text remains.  Switched over to the analog cable and it looks the same as it did with the digital.  Could this be the video card?
