2007WFP Warning
If you're thinking of purchasing a 2007WFP monitor because someone at Dell said the banding issue was "fixed" you might want to think again. I ordered one & I'm sorry I did. A beautiful looking design when the monitor is turned off, but the pciture quality of the one I received was totally unacceptable for one at that price. For viewing DVDs, it's really bad. (I'm not a gamer, so, never tested, but I would think it can't be good.) I shipped it back over two weeks ago after getting a RAN over the phone & I'm still waiting to hear from them on my refund. Big waste of time, plus, cost $30 shipping & insurance to send it back.
I've spent thousands of $ at Dell in the past, but no more. After I get my refund, never again Dell, I've seen enough.

As for Dell paying for return shipping, I guess you were luckier than I was. I thought according to the arrangements I made with Dell support that they WERE paying return shipping, until I got to the UPS store & they said they weren't. I don't think I misunderstood Dell or UPS...

Ironic that you mention newegg because I was almost ready to buy one of their monitors when I decided at the last moment to sprang for the 2007WFP because of it's styling, connections, & usb inputs. I'll be going back to newegg after I lick my wounds a bit & feel in the mood to start a fresh hunt for the right monitor.
yeah, rotsaruk
