2007WFP, Windows 10, entering PSM loop

Hi there,

I have a work monitor for dual monitor use. However I am running into an issue with PSM (power saving mode).
I know bit about computers, but I have exhausted my knowledge trying to figure this out.

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad. Intel Core i5-7200U. Windows 10 Pro.

Dell Monitor: 2007WFPb.  MX-0HF730-46634-64D-2CDL, built on April 13, 2016

When I first started to use the monitor, it would not pick up any input. To solve this I had to change my DVI adaptor port. Than I had to change my resolution for it to work. Ok, no problem. I had the dual screens going for 10 minutes, and then I got "Entering Power Saving Mode" on my 2007WFP. It flicked back on, held for about 5 minutes, did it again. Came back on, held for 2 minutes, and continued this cycle until it was flicking back and forth.

I did the monitor test 3 times. No luck there.

Per the picture below (found on Dell Forms), I followed these steps, and no change.

I have poked around the forms hoping to find a driver that could help, but nothing specific found for this monitor.

Help?

Don't think changing setting on the computer would,

The Problem is happening while machine is being used, so I hardly think and Windows power settings are in even in the picture.

I hope you have an alternate monitor and you have tested your computer with it. That would make troubleshooting much simpler.

Monitor is fairly old and can be faulty

It can be a firmware bug too,

Start By Re-setting your Monitor to factory settings

Test the monitor with another PC/Laptop using VGA
