2209WA gets hot

I just received the 2209WA monitor last night and I used it for about three hours. After I shut down my computer, I noticed that the back of the monitor, particularly the top was very hot. You couldn't put your hand on it for longer than 2 seconds. I've had other Dell monitors before, and they are not warm. They have very little heat dissipation if any at all.

I am using the DVI cable at the full resolution.

Has anyone run into this problem with this monitor?

I received my monitor on 7-16 and it also runs hot..  I'm also running it at full resolution and using the DVD connection.

Let's hope Dell responds to your question

The ones in the lab are warmer than other models but within specifications. If you start to see video issues, get the monitor replaced.

What are the specifications ?

I don't see any video issues. I am running my monitor with 12 brightness and 21 contrast. It gets very warm  after an hour.

Thanks,
