I don't see your graphics card ati 9200 listed as compatible for the 2405fpw.

go to your nearest computer store and buy a graphics card that's listed above. Also be sure to download the latest drivers from whichever manufacturer.

I think you are using VGA cable and that's is the problem.
You might solve your problem if you would buy a higher quality cable.
But I would recommend you to buy a graphics card which supports 1920x1200 with DVI.

This intermittant flickering is starting to get to me. I notice it only on certain web pages and programs. I found that playing with the Phase and mainly the Pixel Clock settings on the monitor menu will greatly influence which open windows have the flicker. And can almost eliminate it. I have a Dsub connection and am now shopping for a new pc with DVI. Other posts say flicker shows up with DVI too.

The only other thing that bothers me is when the monitor does not auto select resolution or something correctly (looks pixelated) and I need to make it auto reset again. Happens about 5% of the time i boot up.

Everything else about this monitor is great and so I hope the fourums can help me fix the flicker.

Well, I ended up buying a new PC with an ATI x600 256meg video card. Now I am using DVI without any flicker problems so I assume the A/D converter in the monitor has a hard time with analog signals. I use the DIN input for a webserver and the quality of the DVI is very noticable. I wish the PIP would let me run the server in a window but it only lets you run video signals in a window. I suppose if I had S-video out on the server it would be a work-around.
